Description: 

For this piece, I have continued my exploration of the subversion of the living world. The bag, made from tree bark, and the flamingo—part animal, part industrial object—challenge our relationship with the natural world. This sculpture creates a tension between two worlds: that of the living and that of industry, revealing a form of objectification of nature.

Through this piece, I sought to reinterpret an ordinary end-of-day scene: the return from the beach. The work invites us to take an objective look at the ambiguous relationships we maintain with living things.
